Parking at Avon Performing Arts Center (Avon High School) for the Christmas Groove is free and convenient

Directions: The address for the high school is 37545 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH, but a GPS will likely NOT take you to the correct entrance. If you put the address in your GPS, verify that it is taking you to Detroit Rd. You DO NOT want to go to Hunters Trail & Deer Run. That is the back entrance which is gated.

If using Google maps, you can use “Avon High School Way” as a destination address.

If using Apple maps, the GPS will likely take you to the incorrect entrance, especially if you are coming from south of Avon. Please follow the directions below and reference the map. Alternatively, you can input 37541 Detroit Rd. to get you close to the entrance and then watch for one of the 2 entrances for Avon High School, which are west of 37541 Detroit Rd.

Mobility Issues: Please come to the main entrance of the Performing Arts Center for drop-off and pick-up. The main entrance is in the Main Lot.

Traveling North on I-71 N:

  • Take Exit 240 for W. 150th St., Turn Left

  • Turn left on Lakewood Heights Blvd. for I-90W ramp

  • Take I-90 W to Exit 153 for OH 83 S towards Avon

  • Turn left on OH-83 S towards Avon

  • Turn Right onto Detroit Rd./OH-254

  • In ~2 miles, Turn left into Avon High School

Traveling North from the Medina area:

  • Take OH-57 N/OH-83/Avon Belden Rd. north

  • Turn left onto Detroit Rd./OH-254

  • In ~2 miles, Turn left into Avon High School

Traveling West on I-480 W:

  • When I-480 W ends, keep left to continue on OH-10 W

  • Take Exit 3 toward US-83/N Ridgeville/Wooster, Turn Right

  • At traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Chestnut Ridge Rd.

  • Turn left onto Avon Belden Rd./OH-83

  • Turn left onto Detroit Rd./OH-254

  • In ~2 miles, Turn left into Avon High School

Traveling West on I-90 W:

  • Take Exit 153 for OH 83 S towards Avon

  • Turn left on OH-83 S towards Avon

  • Turn Right onto Detroit Rd./OH-254

  • In ~2 miles, Turn left into Avon High School

Traveling East on I-90 E:

  • Take exit 148 For OH-254 toward Sheffield/Avon

  • Turn right onto Detroit Rd./OH-254 towards Avon
